Weekly Writing Circles for Women
Build your confidence, skill and enjoyment of writing.

Each session begins with meditation, guided imagery and nature-based practices to quiet the mind. Every week we'll explore a different aspect of writing, such as character, setting, dialogue, tension, detail, point of view, editing, revision and more. We'll write together to practice new skills, and then share our writing to learn from one another.

Both circles are in Graton, just north of Sebastopol in Sonoma County, CA. Beginning, experienced and exploring writers of all genres are welcome. Tuition is $100 for four sessions; advance registration required.

Writing as a Spiritual Practice: One-Day Workshops for Women
Deepen your writing life as it evolves into a spiritual practice.

The focus of these one-day workshops is on writing as a spiritual practice, which includes techniques for quieting the mind and becoming more receptive to your stories. This gentle day of exploration allows for two long writings, reading aloud, deep listening and reflection.

Come once, come every month, or enroll as often as you like. Beginning, experienced and exploring writers of all genres are welcome. Diversity of the group, rotating venues and a growing pool of participants make each month's gathering distinctive and fresh.

Groups meet 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Tuition for workshops in the Sonoma County, CA area is $85 per session. Tuition may be slightly higher for outlying areas.
